I have been meaning to make a quilt for ages ( years in fact), just never found the time, patience, inspiration, whatever! Anyway, I have been saving my husband's old shirts for some time and have decided to put them to good use. I am making a western star quilt for the lil man. The pattern is from Kids Quilts in a weekend. All the squares are cut up and arranged into a colour scheme I like, for the moment anyway. All I need now is find my stash of red fabrics for the stars and we're done! Actually, there is still the sewing, basting and finishing to go. Watch this space.
