First baby pics

I am now 16 weeks pregnant! We had our hospital appointment last week which included the ultra sound scan. Can't tell the sex of the baby yet but he's a little wriggler. I know he's only tiny, I'm sure I can feel him moving around . When I asked the midwife about it, she said , "It's your third pregnancy, so you're much more attuned to your body. No you're not imagining it."

So anyway, here's the first pic of the little wriggler. The one on the left is a 4D scan. That was done in KL 2 weeks ago. The pictures from a 4D scan are so clear. You can see small details which are just a blur on the normal scan. I won't be getting the 4D scan here on the NHS. If we did it privately, it would cost £250! That's a big yarn purchase!

Oh Ling

How beautiful the little one is. I'm sure you are feeling it move as well. Enjoy that wonderful feeling. I knew I'd miss it when my baby days were over....I loved that part!

Baby is coming along nicely. Great job on the baking ;) Hope you're able to keep your energy up, and glad you're feeling so much better now that you're in your second trimester.

Happy belated birthday, Ling! And congratulations on the new addition to the family. How wonderful is technology at times??? What a clear, and fantastic, image to have of the wee one. Makes it all seem so real and even more wonderful a process. Hang on to that thought during all the other maternal moments that often go along with pregnancy and motherhood:)!!

Wow I am amazed at modern technology. The blob actually looks like a little one. I've always been one of those who can't make out the ultrasound pics.
