Thank you

This is just a very quick note to say a BIG Thank you to everyone for their kind words and wishes. My grandmother is doing better, not great but better. It certainly made me feel a lot better being here with her and my family. Here is a picture of her on her wedding day ( she had an 18 inch waist!!)
On good thing about being here in KL with no kids, I am getting quite a lot of knitting done. More about that soon.

sorry to hear that your grandmother is ill. Yeah, that call in the night is a pretty nasty thing. I say my granmother get frailer and frailer over the years and I was still unprepared for that call... it's one of those things that you can't really ever prepare for.

Liiiiing!!! so happy to hear the worst didn't happen. I thought about you all week and of course today at ally pally. (call me when you can!) I'm all set to go if you want to on Sunday, just let me know.

Your grandmother looked beautiful on her wedding day. I know she must have been pleased to see you, AND you got to sit for how long unmolested and uninterrupted by children to knit? Yeay! So not a disasterous week. good:) How did things go for Kevin? And how did the kiddies cope without mummy?

What a wonderful photo! It must be hard to know she's ill right now. I'm sending positive thoughts to all your family right now. Take care, Ling!
