My baby is growing up

Just a quick post on my little baby achieving another milestone. Keira, my littlest one, who is 20 months old is growing up so quickly. We spent our Sunday afternoon dismantling her cot and converting it into a bed. She's not a baby anymore. I really can't believe how time flies (when you are having fun!) It feels like yesterday that I was pregnant with Aidan, who is 3 years and 3 months old. Now, I am thinking about planning Keira's second birthday in May. Before you know it, they'll be grotty, moody teenagers!

Those days were hard, I recall. Every little milestone farther from babyhood was bittersweet. Your daughter in the sweater is so beautiful.

Mothering two teens currently has been great. I think I was meant to love this. Whilst all my friends were sad when their little ones were growing up, I was having a hard time. Toddler hood was not my time to parent well.
I find young adults fascinating and a pleasure. Perhaps because I treat them as young adults, not dreadful teens. Look forward to those years, they are wonderful too!

Keira is just so cute! Hey, all those little ones are great knit models you know :)

Now, if only they don't grow up so far that my knitting fails to catch up!
